A Canadian perspective

Well, it's not everyday you can find a complete profile about Lebanon, which is better than the most publications about the Lebanese, even those issued by the Lebanese government.

Settlement.org, a governmental Canadian, is trying to bridge the cultural gap between the new immigrated Lebanese and the Canadians citizens. And they made a wonderful job. In one of their pages, the writer states that when you are in Lebanon, you feel that you are in one of North America city or in an European one. In another link, you can read an encouragement to the Canadian citizens to help the new arrived Lebanese to find the suitable school or the place where to find a doctor, and they add that "don't hesitate to ask, you have a lot to learn from them".
